सबसे बड़ी बात यह थी कि अन्य धर्म के लोगो ने नमाज़ियों के इर्द-गिर्द ह्यूमन चेन बनाई। ताकि वे आराम से अपनी नमाज़ अदा कर सके।

हिंसक विरोध के बीच मुस्लिम समुदाय के छात्रों और अन्य लोगों ने जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया विश्वविद्यालय के गेट पर नमाज अदा की। अन्य धर्मों के सदस्यों ने उनके चारों ओर एक मानव श्रृंखला बनाई।
वहीं दूसरी तरफ पुलिसकर्मियों ने हिरासत में लिए गए प्रदर्शनकारियों को सूरजमल स्टेडियम में जलपान की पेशकश की।
